Obama Campaign Team Sets Fundraising Record

President Obama's campaign and the Democratic Party has managed to collect 181 million
dollars during September to support her re-election effort.Fund raising 181 million dollars during the month of September were the highest monthly amount during the presidential elections this time. The Obama campaign said on Saturday, the funds collected from donations of more than 1.8 million people.

The results of this fundraising exceeded 114 million dollars collected Obama and Democrats in
August, and slightly less than 193 million dollars were collected in September 2008, the first
election itself.

This announcement follows news for the Obama campaign that the unemployment rate fell
below 8 percent for the first time since January 2009, when Obama began to hold office as
President of the United States.
